"Why Do I Read?"

I read for enjoyment, for those ideas and places you can't reach in the real world. I enjoying reading about things that arent possible in the world we live in. I feel like when I'm reading books, especially those long ones, I fee like I'm getting smarter. It opens all kinds of doors with vocabulary and your way of thinking. Reading is like a more complicated T.V. with more complex ideas and ways of understanding the material. Books that just blow your mind because you had to figure things out, its not just handed to you through a T.V. screen. You're the one figuring out the characters and the plot, you're the one progressing everything, its at your pace. Reading is something you can just pick and start doing in places you normally can't just sit down and watch T.V. You can pick up a book anywhere and dive into a world of new characters, stories, and all kinds of twists. Reading really can be a whole different world for the reader.
